Basic Schedule Nine and 1/2 months of classes (38 Sessions) beginning September 1 will comprise the year's work. No classes are held during Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter or Spring Breaks. Classes are held on ML King's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day and during Teacher's In Service Days. A summer session is available. Registration and Tuition: Tuition is due in advance and payable the first class of each month. Because the time is limited for classes, no receipts will be written during class time. Please remit by cheque, payable to The Academy of Performing Arts, noting the month for which is being paid. Cheques may also be mailed to PO Box 723, Gig Harbor, Washington 98335, or deposited in the dropbox at the studio. A $15.00 fee will be charges monthly for late class payments and for returned checks.
. A $15.00 one time registration fee is required for each new student in the school and must be paid with the first month's payment. Registration / Hold harmless forms must be filled out for every student in the school and must be signed prior to attending classes. Missed Classes: The class in which you register is designed to cover a pre-determined body of material during the year. Also, the size of each class is limited in advance to guarantee individual instruction. Consequently, for each child's sake and progress, it is essential that the child attend regularly and on time. There are no refunds for missed classes. Legitimate absences may be made up during the school year by special arrangement with the teacher. Open Door Policy: The studio doors stay open during our classes so family members may watch the progression of each student. Additional Information: The Academy offers classes in all areas of the performing arts. If you are interested in a specific area of training and do not see it listed on our Master Schedule, please feel free to request it. We will make every attempt to meet the needs of all of our students.
