Jennifer Picart-Branner Instructor of Ballet Jennifer's interest in ballet first began
when she was eight years old and started dancing in a dance/arts school in the
Philippines. Shortly after, she moved to Germany and continued dancing
there in Dr. Hoch's Conservatory in Frankfurt until she was 18 years old.
From there she moved on to the University of Music and Art in Frankfurt where
she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater Dance with a major in
Classical Vaganova technique. During her residence in Germany, she
danced as soloist with the Frankfurt Ballet Company and with the Royal Ballet
Company. She has performed professionally in numerous ballets such as
"Sleeping Beauty," "Swan Lake," "Giselle,"
"Coppelia" and "Nutcracker" as the Sugar Plum Fairy.
After a knee injury ended her career as a performer, she has maintained an
active interest in ballet by teaching first at the Hanau School of Ballet and
teaching now in Gig Harbor at The Academy of Performing Arts. We are
thrilled to have Jennifer join our staff.
